Cathy Leslie has recently retired from the Nova Scotia Health Authority after 20+years working with the legislated Community Health Board (CHB) volunteers, community-based health service teams, local non-profits and community organizations, municipal and provincial government community developers and recreation staff, as well as other organizations supporting safe and healthy communities.

Having worked many years with communities and organizations in the most rural parts of Halifax Regional Municipality: from Musquodoboit Harbour to Ecum Secum and throughout the Musquodoboit Valley, my commitment to engaging and collaborating with community members, their organizations, agencies, and committees remains a priority.

The Rural Communities Foundation of Nova Scotia continues to be a champion for communities throughout our province. I am grateful to have an opportunity to contribute in their efforts to improve the well-being and achievements of our Nova Scotian communities.
