Rural Pride in Nova Scotia

The Rural Communities Foundation of Nova Scotia (RCFNS) is proud to host the Rural Pride Fund, supporting 2SLGBTQI+ Pride organizers in rural Nova Scotia. Thus far, this Fund has provided financial and administrative support to grassroots, volunteer-led groups, starting with the St. Margaret’s Bay and West Hants regions, and has recently welcomed Richmond County pride groups into the fold.

Pride organizers often face barriers to funding due to their non-charitable or even unincorporated status. By serving as a fiscal partner, RCFNS, with your support, will help make Pride more visible, inclusive, and accessible in rural communities across the province.
