Rooted in Land,
Powered by Community
This poster shows how the Rural Communities Foundation of Nova Scotia turns donated land into community-powered, circular economies. It highlights our work with local groups to grow climate-resilient food, create good local jobs, and transform waste into living soil—advancing food sovereignty, climate resilience, and land equality.
Rather than just “bailing out” struggling organizations, RCFNS acts as a repair partner and anchor institution, helping communities fix systemic leaks so resources, knowledge, and wealth stay rooted in rural Nova Scotia.
