Secretary-Kathryn Gamache

Kathryn Gamache is the Executive Director of the Aspotogan Heritage Trust, which is located in Hubbards along the beautiful South Shore.

She has long-standing family roots in rural and coastal Nova Scotia and throughout her career has been active in community development at both local and provincial levels. She is invested in organizations that support community-based planning as well as volunteer sector development.

As a facilitator, she is frequently asked to speak on topics related to organizational governance, strategic planning and effective grant writing for non-profits. In her role as Executive Director, Kathryn manages a community foundation supported by a perpetual Trust that uses its resources in support of tangible grass-roots community building.

Her work with Aspotogan Heritage Trust and its many project partners has afforded her the opportunity to serve on the boards of the Nova Scotia Community-based Transportation Association, Community Sector Council, Chebucto West Community Health Board and the Lunenburg Queens Volunteer Partnership, to name a few.
