Penny Day
Penny grew up in Vancouver BC and then in St. John’s NL and has lived and worked in several different countries around the world. She now lives in rural HRM and has been an active community member for several years. Having worked with many different rural communities and community groups throughout her career and she sees the importance of organization and communication as a key to strong communities.
Penny brings business, communications and strategy to her role. She graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland with a BA in Economics and has worked in the private business sector as well as the public sector for many years.
