Director-Jeremy Martell

Jeremy grew up in Isle Madame, Cape Breton, leaving for an education in Public Relations in Halifax in 2004. In 2017 he moved back to Cape Breton to join the team at the Cape Breton Partnership, Unama’ki – Cape Breton’s private sector-led economic development organization, where he now serves as Director of Communications. Both of his parents are entrepreneurs and owners of small businesses in Isle Madame.

In addition to sitting on the Board of Directors of the Rural Communities Foundation of NS, Jeremy regularly volunteers for events and activities with the Louisdale Lions Club, Louisdale Welcome Group, and Junior Achievement Nova Scotia. He is also a society member of the Celtic Colours Festival Society.

Jeremy is passionate about issues impacting rural Nova Scotia and promoting our communities as the best places to live, work, and play. A proud Cape Bretoner, Jeremy now lives in Louisdale, Richmond County, with his wife Danielle.
