Justin is from Cape Sable Island, on the south shore, and currently lives in Halifax. He has spent the last decade earning degrees in history and social work from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador and the University of Calgary, respectively. Professionally he has worked frontline and management in child and youth care organizations, mostly in rural settings, and has found a new passion for the hospitality industry. He is active in the fundraising and awareness spheres in his communities, where his passion to help people who are vulnerable can be realized. Above all, he loves to work collaboratively to make sense of groups and communities so that they can thrive within their spaces.
