Gem Roberts is a consultant and entrepreneur originally from the Bahamas, now living in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. She does independent contracting for non-profits by day and develops her social enterprise, The Cold Foam (a door-to-door laundry service) by night. Her passion is community-based work and hopes to continue supporting and co-creating sustainable solutions that are for and by grassroots communities.

Within each day, Gem sees the opportunities to adapt and remember to not be "too attached to [ones] own myopia", because although one may have "found a way to do things, doesn't mean it's the [only] way to do things" (S. K. Brown).
